MARC HERSHON
Marc Hershon is the co-author of I Hate People!: Kick Loose From the Overbearing and Underhanded Jerks at Work and Get What You Want Out of Your Job, with Jonathan Littman. Marc is also a branding expert who dreams up names for countless hit products, was a longtime associate with the prestigious Lexicon Branding, Inc. (where he helped to create great names such as BlackBerry, Dasani and Swiffer.) He recently teamed with Jonathan to started their own firm, Simmer Branding Studio.
Two of Marc’s hottest brands were recently unveiled. World-renowned Garmin International launched the nüvi GPS device in a Super Bowl ad, and Sony went live with Crackle.com, their new online video website. A comedy veteran, Marc has also been writing for years with SNL veteran Dana Carvey (performing opening routines for Carvey's live appearances), has written for comedian Bill Maher, and regularly contributes jokes to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has worked closely with such comedy headliners as Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Reiser, Bill Maher, Ellen Degeneres and Robin Williams. Marc is also a staff writer and performer with Fries On The Side, a hot live sketch comedy group in Los Angeles. Three of his scripts have been produced and aired as made-for-television movies.
