Sarah Rainone is the author of the novel Love Will Tear Us Apart, a nostalgic but unsentimental tale of growing up in a time when hip-hop, hair bands and grunge played in the background. Love Will Tear Us Apart offers a glimpse into the inner lives of four unforgettable characters whose memories are framed less by the words spoken than by the music that drowned them out.
Sarah is a freelance writer and editor living in Brooklyn, NY who has worked for Doubleday and Harper Collins and interned at the Providence Phoenix. A graduate of Syracuse University’sMagazine Journalism and English programs, she grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island. A bass player and improv student, she has performed at The Blue Note, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She is a member of the Authors Guild.
